What kind of things do you paint?
I’m primarily a portrait painter, but if you’d like something else painting I’d love to have a chat with you! I love to paint candid portraits to show the every-day emotion, but don’t get me wrong, staged family portraits definitely have their place on the canvas!
How long will it take to get my studio painting?
Please allow 4-6 weeks to receive any studio paintings, depending on my schedule it may take anywhere between 2-5 weeks to be painted this is because once I finish the painting, I allow it a couple days to dry before varnishing, then I allow another 48hrs before packaging and shipping. Once your painting is sent I share the tracking information with you, if there are any shipping delays I will inform you as soon as I can.
My wedding already happened, could you paint from photos?
Yes, I can paint from photos, please see Studio Painting for painting from photo packages.
I didn't get photo with (insert name) at my wedding, could you still paint us together?
I can often do some photoshop magic, but I will need some suitable photos that I can use to merge you into one natural-looking scene. Please email your request to hello@deannekemp.art with as many images as possible. If I can work with the photos you send me, I will create a rough mockup and confirm with you before moving forward with the painting.
Can I frame my painting?
Yes, you can usually get it professionally framed at any framing store. I don’t offer this service unfortunately, however the canvases I use are a standard height to fit most frames.
